A big hello to new and old followers.

Today it’s my turn to share my latest calendar page over on the Sarah Hurley Inspiration page.

It’s apparent that the warm colours of fall have had a part to play in this months colour choice. I love the rich warm colours of orange and red it’s so comforting. I’ll admit though that using brown acrylic paint kind of freaked me out a bit. I think we can all visualise the outcome had it went wrong ha ha

Happy Monday to you!

I’ve been a busy wee bee lately, working on new commissions for Making Cards magazine, new stamp designs, new products for my Etsy shop AND I’ve been really embracing my Messy Fun Fridays. Although I should confess last week my Messy Fun Friday was in fact Thursday but shhhhhhh we’ll just keep that between you and me oh and Jaine Drake hee hee

Today I’m sharing Octobers calendar page that I created for the Sarah Hurley inspiration blog. I find it’s such an exciting time of the year, from the change of season that brings new colours, the warm cosy nights with burning scented candles and of course the celebrating of Halloween. Only 5 days to go people….are you ready?

I decided to go down the non traditional colour theme of Halloween and choose a pink and orange colour combination with accents of and black and white. I’ll admit I’ve never been so bold in my colour choices but I think it’s good to get out of our comfort zone don’t you think?
